Top 9 Black Owned and Operated hair care product alternatives

These founders are leading the way when it come to all natural and organic hair and beard products

Regardless of your position on black owned beauty companies being acquired, it is safe to say high quality natural hair products are here to stay. As a little girl, I was always obsessed with hair and had my hands in it every chance I could get. This passion later became the driving force that led to me completing my cosmetology hours while in high school to become a licensed hair stylist. With 20 years and counting in the industry, I have worked with every texture you could think of in high end salons across New York City. The salons I worked in always carried legacy brands with everything ranging from Kerastase to Orbie. Although these products are amazing, they do have their limits when it comes to natural hair texture, so I've put together a list of my top 9 black-owned and operated hair (and beard) care products and a little about the CEOs of each company.
